Metalcolour A/S - new owner for SSAB Laminated Steel AB

This means that two of the most flexible and service minded producers of painted and film laminated steel will join forces and become even stronger.

SSAB Laminated Steel AB will be renamed Metalcolour (Sverige) AB. The product name, , will remain the same.

Henrik Kaa Andersen, Managing Director and co-owner of Metalcolour A/S will become new Group Administrative Director while Ingemar Forsberg will continue as Managing Director for Metalcolour (Sverige) AB and become new Group Commercial Director.

The two companies complement each other extremely well and together we will be able to offer an exceptionally broad and competitive product programme. Naturally all properties that’s created the company’s position as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of laminated steel for the ship building industry, under the brand name Dobel, will remain the same. In addition, we expect to be able to bring a number of new products to the market by using the know-how and production equipment of Metalcolour A/S.

By joining forces, the two companies will become even better suppliers to all our customers and we look forward continuing the good co-operation with both customers and suppliers.
